Inspired by the work in Nina Chanel Abney’s exhibition Royal Flush, award-winning poet Patricia Smith reads selections from her recent book, Incendiary Art, recipient of the 2018 Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award. One of America’s most electrifying writers, Smith reveals what is frightening—and what is revelatory—about race and history today.
