In collaboration with the Pacific Island Ethnic Art Museum (PIEAM)\, join us as we celebrate the work of artists Maria “Lia” Terlaje Barcinas and Jason Pereira. Together they will combine traditional and contemporary weaving techniques to create a one-of-a-kind woven mat from natural materials. Come view this creation as it’s woven before your eyes\, chat with the artists\, explore rarely-seen items from the Museum’s collection\, enjoy hands-on activities\, and more!
