DESCRIPTION:The Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena will have its collectible items and equipment auctioned off on Wednesday\, July 13th\, starting at 10:00AM PDT\, before its demolition takes place to make way for a new soccer stadium. The auction will be managed by GA Global Partners of Los Angeles. \nInspection of the Sports Arena’s items going up for auction will be held on Tuesday\, July 12th at the Sports Arena from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Registration for the auction will be online\, and managed by the GA Global Partners of Los Angeles. You canSign-Up Here. \nAssets from the iconic Sports Arena will be sold during this one-day online auction on July 13th. Music fans\, sports fans and memorabilia collectors will have the chance to own a unique piece of Los Angeles history. \nIncluded in the auction will be Stadium Seating\, Turnstiles\, Concession Stands\, Scoreboards\, Dasher Boards\, Hockey Goals\, Stages\, Risers\, Player Locker Rooms\, and Stadium Signage\, Banners and Photos. Other items will include Commercial Speakers\, Stage/Show Lighting\, Restaurant Equipment\, Arena Club Furnishings\, Bars\, Media Room Equipment\, Boilers\, Chillers\, Break Room Equipment\, Executive Office Furniture and more than 50 years of accumulation from this Southern California landmark stadium.

DESCRIPTION:Construction Job and Information Fair at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena on Thursday\, March 10\, 2016 from 9 a.m. – 12 noon for all local residents interested in working on the project. \nWHEN?\nThursday\, March 10\, 2016\n9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.\nOn-site registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. \nWHERE?\nLos Angeles Sports Arena\, 3939 S Figueroa St\, Los Angeles\, CA 90037 \nQUESTIONS?\nEmail buildlafc@pcl.com \nThe Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) Soccer Stadium will be the new venue for the Major League Soccer team. The 22\,000-seat-venue will be located in downtown Los Angeles\, next to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Exposition Park. The new stadium will feature a state-of-the-art semi-transparent canopy\, restaurants\, a team store\, a jumbo video scoreboard\, and premium seating options including private clubs\, loge boxes and suites. This stadium will create a new standard for fans of professional soccer by providing excellent sightlines\, proximity to the action\, amenities and overall atmosphere. In addition to professional soccer\, the stadium can be configured for concerts or other special events. \nDemolition of the Los Angeles Sports arena is expected to commence in June 2016 with construction commencing in October 2016 and completing in the first quarter of 2018. \nPCL Construction Services\, Inc. is the general contractor on the LAFC Soccer Stadium project. \nAll local residents interested in working on this construction project are invited to attend this event. Please note that PCL/LAFC requires all contractors to be signatory to the project’s Project Labor Agreement. Trade representatives will be present to assist in understanding union entry requirements.
