Description: Lecture: “Hatshepsut: How a Woman Ascended the Throne of Ancient Egypt” with Dr. Kara Cooney-Dr. Kara Cooney, Associate Professor of Egyptian Art & Architecture and Near Eastern Languages & Cultures at UCLA, tells the story of the longest-reigning female pharaoh in Ancient Egypt and her rise to power.
